THERE ARE TWO TYPES TO CHOOSE FROM:
Non resonated. Non resonated is ONLY recommended if you are running factory downpipes. Running non resonated equal length midpipes with aftermarket downpipes MAY cause drone or simply be too loud.
Resonated. Resonated is recommended if you are running aftermarket downpipes. Resonated equal length midpipes will help absorb drone and keep your car from being too loud.
*BOTH RESONATED AND NON RESONATED EQUAL LENGTH MIDPIPES SOUND THE SAME. ONE IS SIMPLY LOUDER THAN THE OTHER, THERE IS ZERO CHANGE IN TONE OR DEPTH*
Performance Racing Solutions equal length midpipes have been designed to improve exhaust flow and eliminate rasp completely from your BMW F80 M3, F82 or F83 M4. Expect to hear a deeper and richer sound note from your S55 engine without any drone thanks to a unique, snake style design, carefully implemented throughout the design of the midpipes.
These equal length midpipes have also been designed to fit almost identically to how factory midpipes would, retaining all hangers and factory underbody bracing. Most competitor solutions will provide a lower hanging brace as the factory brace will rub due to a poor design. This is not the case for Performance Racing Solutions. Lower hanging braces may also scrub over speed bumps or entering and exiting driveways which may eventually crack, bend or snap.
Protection from the elements and rust comes thanks to a ceramic coating (cerakote), which is standard on all Performance Racing Solutions exhaust systems.
