Transform how your VW MK7 or 7.5 Golf GTI or R feels by shaving off 5kg and increasing front end rigidity by 25% with an aluminum subframe retrofit.
Quite selfishly (in our opinion) found ONLY in Audi's 8V S3 and VW's MK7 Golf GTI ED40 from factory, this subframe can be the cost effective, BOLT-IN answer to a multitude of issues found in VW's MK7 & 7.5 Golf R's & GTI's when put to the limit on the street and track.
Part number:
Part numbers change frequently due to constant revisions. Please CONTACT US if you require a part number or wish to confirm a part number you already have.
Such issuses include but are not limited to:
- Front end weight bias
- Poor load distribution
- Loose front end feel
- Improper launching
- Understeer
- Bunny hop
- Bogging
Being made from Aliminum (as opposed to Steel which is what is used in most MK7 & 7.5 Golf models) you will benefit from a whole host improvements such as:
- Up to 5kg in weight savings
- An increase of 25% in front end rigidity
- Improved front end handling feel
NOTE:
1. Front subframe pucks are not included with the front subframe.
Pucks in you cars original front subframe can be reused but depending on mileage (50,000km +) it is reccomended to install new ones. Pucks can be sourced from any VW or Audi dealership. Simply quote the part number found on your subframe to ensure the correct pucks are purchased.
Alternatively, further increase front end rigidity and improve launching by pairing this subframe with 034 Motorsport Street Density pucks:

2. If deciding to upgrade your "dogbone" mount at the same time or in the future, please ensure that you purchase one suited for a DQ380/1 transmission as a DQ250 version will not fit with this front subframe.
An 034 Motorsports DQ380/1 dogbone mount will work perfectly:

RECOMMENDED:
It is HIGHLY recommended that you replace your front subframe bolts at the time of install as they are stretch bolts and in most cases NOT reusable. There are also instances with bolts for steel front subframes where the length is too short to use with front alloy subframes.
These Bolts can be sourced (if you decide not to reuse your cars front steel subframe bolts) from any VW or Audi dealership. Simply quote the part number found on your subframe to ensure the correct bolts are purchased.
Alternatively, further increase front end rigidity and notice a tighter feel around corners by pairing this subframe with an 034 Motorsport collar locking kit:
